St. John Fisher University Athletics Hall of Fame
Wakili Moore’s 74 3-pointers during the 1989-90 campaign are the most in one season in St. John Fisher College history. Wakili enters the Fisher Athletics Hall of Fame ranked in the top 10 in many categories, including: fifth in career free throw shooting (82.0%) and single-season free throw shooting (87.8%), and sixth in career 3-pointers (131) and career scoring (1,151 points). A two-time Rochester Classic All-Tournament Team selection, Wakili served as a team captain as a senior, when he led the team in scoring and was named to the Chase Scholarship All-Tournament Team. At the time of induction, Wakili works at School No. 7, where he is the youngest principal in the Rochester City School District.
