St. John Fisher University Athletics Hall of Fame
Mick Kubik anchored the offensive line at St. John Fisher College and received All-American and All-Conference honors in each of his four seasons. He played a key role in leading Fisher to its first national championship in 1981. Mick was active off the field as well, serving as President of the Student Government Association as senior and as a resident advisor for two years. In 1983, he was named the Louis and Nellie Skalny Scholar for History. Mick, a trustee of Alden Village Board, has worked for the last 11 years in Erie Country in programs for physically-handicapped children. He is married with two children.
