Throughout his four-year tenure with the St. John Fisher College men’s basketball team, Arnie Roese guided the Cardinals to three consecutive PCAC titles, including an NAIA District 31 championship in his senior campaign. Known as a prolific passer on the hardwood, Roese finished his collegiate career as the College’s career leader in assists with 481 and currently ranks second in all-time assists. He posted 198 assists in 1979, good for second on the college’s all-time single season record list, while leading the Cardinals to the NAIA national tournament. He finished ninth all-time in games played (102), while posting 727 points over the course of four years. Arnie graduated from Fisher with a Bachelor of Science in Management
