St. John Fisher University Athletics Hall of Fame
A Four-time All-Empire 8 conference selection, Amanda Kent Hoobler was a four year starter on the St. John Fisher College softball team, starting in all 166 games in that time span.
Kent Hoobler set a single-season record for runs scored, tallying 53 in 2001. She finished her career as the College’s all-time leader in runs scored with (164), doubles with (44), homeruns with (26) and total bases, (336).
Kent Hoobler had a career-batting average of .362 and was among the program’s best at driving in runs, finishing her career with 128 RBI earning her All-American honors in 2002.
Her illustrious career included tying the NCAA Division III record with three home runs in a single game including a solo shot in the first inning, a two run homer in the in the second, and a three run shot in the third, culminating in a 13-2 win over SUNY Oswego in her freshman season.
A four-time NFCA Division III Northeast Region selection, Kent Hoobler was also inducted into the Horseheads High School Hall of Fame in 2009.
