St. John Fisher University Athletics Hall of Fame
A two-time All-American and ECAC Player of the Year, Becky Armstrong currently ranks fifth at the St. John Fisher College in career scoring (1,273), sixth in career assists (334), and seventh in career steals (230). She was a 77.4% free-throw shooter throughout her career. Becky was named to the NYSWCCA and NCAA East Regional All-Tournament teams as a sophomore, leading Fisher to a 28-3 record. As a junior, Becky earned ECAC Upstate Player of the Year and Kodak All-American Honorable Mention accolades, while averaging 17.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 3.8 steals per game. Though a knee injury cut short her 1992-93 season, Becky returned the following year to average 14.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.8 steals per game to lead Fisher to a 28-1 record and its eighth straight trip the NCAA Division III Tournament. In addition t receiving MVP honors in seven tournaments over her final two years, she was voted to the NYWCAA All-Tournament team three times in her career and was the ECAC Upstate Player of the Year again as a senior. Becky graduated from Fisher with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
