Stephen Jacque graduated in 1972 as one of the elite jumpers and runners of the St. John Fisher College programs.

Jacque was a four-time Upstate New York Collegiate Track and Field Championship selection. He was recognized twice on the First Team in triple jump as well as once in long jump and high jump. He also garnered Second-Team recognition in each jump event, twice in triple jump and long jump and once in high jump.

In 1970, he won six events in a single meet: all of the jump events in addition to the 100-yard and 220-yard sprints, and 440-yard relay. The following year, Jacque singlehandedly led Fisher in the Upstate New York Collegiate Track and Field Championship when he earned all of the Cardinals’ 16 points in just two events: the triple jump and high jump.

During his time at Fisher, Jacque also played on the varsity basketball team.
