Joe Granteed starred for the St. John Fisher College men’s basketball program from 1982-86 and is the program’s all-time leading scorer with a career total of 1,953 points. He also averaged 18.3 points per game and is also Fisher’s career leader in field goals and games played, while ranking second at the College in career rebounding (867). Joe was chosen Upstate New York “Player of the Year” in 1986 and named a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics All-District team in 1985 and 1986, as well as an honorable mention All-American. In 2000, Joe was inducted into the Chase Scholarship Tournament Hall of Fame after earning All-Tournament honors three times. Joe graduated from Fisher with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication/Journalism.
