Manny Pina finished his four-year football career at St. John Fisher College as the most prolific receiver in the program’s history.

A two-time captain, Pina finished his career as the College’s all-time leader in receiving yards with 2,222 and receptions with 205. He also set the career-record for kickoff return yards with 1,227, and his 24 career touchdowns ranked second all-time.

A Preseason All-American going into his senior year, Pina lived up to and exceeded all expectations. He finished his final year with 74 catches for 825 yards (both single-season records) and was named to the Football Gazette All-East First Team and the ECAC Upstate First Team.   In Fisher’s season-opener that year, he set the College-record for receptions in a game with 17.

After finishing his collegiate career, Pina went on to play professionally, playing two seasons with the New Jersey Red Dogs and one year with the Carolina Cobras in the Arena Football League.

He returned to Fisher in 1999 and earned his degree in Sociology and currently works for State Street Bank & Trust in Massachusetts.
