Few careers in college football accomplished what Mark Robinson did in his four-year career at St. John Fisher College from 2003-2006. Robinson finished his career with 829 rushing attempts, 4,840 rushing yards, 5.8 yards per carry, 59 rushing touchdowns, 65 total touchdowns and 390 points scored. He ranks as Fisher’s all-time leader in every single one of those categories while the 4,840 rushing yards is the 20th-best career mark in DIII history and the 390 points ranks 17th in all-time scoring in NCAA history. During his senior season, Robinson was the focal point of a Cardinal team that managed to win the program’s first-ever NCAA East Regional title and advance to the NCAA Championships semifinal round. In that season, Robinson was named as the East Region Offensive Player of the Year and as an All-American for the second time as he ran for 1,570 yards and 24 touchdowns. Statistically, his best season was as a sophomore when he set the Fisher all-time single season rushing yards and rushing touchdown records at 2,194 and 25 respectively. Each of those marks still rank as 10th all-time in NCAA Division III history. A two-time Empire 8 First Team selection, Robinson graduated from Fisher in 2007 with a B.A. in Communication/Journalism.
