St. John Fisher University Athletics Hall of Fame
Renee Diemoz was a standout soccer and basketball player from 1981 to 1985 at St. John Fisher College. The 1985 Rochester Press Radio Club Sportswomen of the Year finalist ranks fourth on the women’s soccer career scoring list with 31 goals and 39 assists for 101 points. She also was the first and only four-year captain and starter on the women’s soccer team and guided the Cardinals to a first-place finish in the East tournament and a second-place finish in the state tournament as a sophomore. On the hardwood, Renee was a three-year starter, scoring 618 points over her career and lead the Cardinals in assists, steals and field goal percentage during her junior year. Renee graduated from Fisher with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
