Jennifer Ruff Osborne was a four-year letter winner for the St. John Fisher College women’s basketball program and helped guide the Cardinals to the NCAA Division III Championship in all four seasons.

In her senior year, Ruff Osborne led Fisher (28-1) to an undefeated regular-season, an NYSWCAA title and an appearance in the NCAA Division III “Sweet 16” Regional. She led the team in rebounding in her final year (nine boards per game), while averaging 12 points per game.   A 1994 Rochester Area College Athletics First Team selection, Ruff Osborne was also named to five all-tournament teams in her final campaign, including the “Sweet 16” All-Regional Team after tallying 17 rebounds and 12 points in Fisher’s finale.

As a junior, Ruff Osborne carried the Cardinals down the stretch and earned All-State honors, as Fisher finished second in the state and qualified for the NCAA Championship for then the seventh-consecutive season.

“Jen worked as hard as any player I’ve ever had and she always did the little things that helped us win so many games,” says head coach Phil Kahler, who has won more games than any other coach in NCAA Division III. “She never received enough credit for her efforts during her playing days, but it’s great to see her receive this honor that she so clearly deserves.”

Jen graduated from Fisher in 1994 with a degree in communication/journalism. She lives outside of Lexington, Kentucky, with her husband, Tracy.
