Over her four-year career at St. John Fisher College, volleyball standout Angela Modafferi established herself as one of the most prolific players to ever wear a Fisher uniform. A three-year starter, Modafferi finished her career as Fisher’s all-time leader in assists with 3,315, while ranking second at the College in career digs with over 1,300. An All-State selection in her senior year, Modafferi paced the Cardinals to the postseason in all four years at Fisher, while leading her team to an overall record of 116-55. During her senior season, Modafferi set the Fisher single-season record for assists with 1,483, while receiving numerous weekly awards and earning All-Tournament honors on several occasions throughout her career. She was named as the Most Valuable Player at the 1996 Houghton Invitational. Angela graduated from Fisher with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
