As a sophomore, Stratton paced the Cardinals to their first NYSWCAA Championship title and led the team to their first appearance in the NCAA Division III Championship.  Stratton set the Fisher record for kills with 405 and blocks with 219 that year.

In her junior season, Stratton rewrote the Fisher record and shattered her own records, totaling 460 kills and 260 blocks, while helping Fisher make it back to the NCAA Tournament for the second straight year.

A two-time All-State selection, Stratton was named to several All-Tournaments teams and was the recipient of several weekly awards during her career.

A Brockport High School graduate, Kate and her husband Jed reside in Rochester.
