St. John Fisher University Athletics Hall of Fame
Joseph Brady was a key athlete for the St. John Fisher College hockey teams from 1967 to 1970. At the age of 18, Brady was drafted by the New York Rangers of the NHL. Brady spent time in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) as he helped Kitchener win the Junior “B” title while scoring three goals in the OHL championship against goaltending legend Ken Dryden. As a sophomore, Brady was named Fisher’s Athlete of the Year as he tallied 47 goals and 28 assists in just 28 games. Among his other honors, he was named a Finger Lakes Collegiate Hockey League All-Star in both years the team competed in the league. Joe graduated from Fisher with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.
