Over the past 45 years, there have been close to 1,000 different men who have played soccer for St. John Fisher College. And of those nearly 1,000 players, only one has been able to score more goals than Fisher graduate Dr. Larry Monaco. During his four-year career with the Cardinals, Monaco led his team to winning seasons in each and every year and established himself as one of the College’s most prolific players. A two-time All-State selection, Monaco still ranks second at Fisher in career scoring with 39 goals. His career 82 points also still ranks as the second-highest career total in Fisher history.
A Biology major, Monaco graduated from Fisher in 1967. He his since gone on to earn his doctorate degree and is a retired orthopedist.
