PITTSFORD, N.Y., March 30, 2015 – St. John Fisher College’s Ceilia Fitzgerald (St. Paul/Bellevue, OH) of the women’s golf team has been selected as the College’s Female Athlete of Week for the week ending March 29, 2015.
The senior led the Cardinals at the McDaniel Spring Invitational, completing the two-day tournament at 34-above par (178) to tie for seventh place overall. She shot 91 in Saturday’s opening round then improved on Sunday, recording 87. Fitzgerald also recorded one birdie between the two rounds.
The Cardinals shot 396 on Saturday then 391 the next day to finish 211-above par for fourth place.
Fisher returns to action on April 11 for the LeMoyne Invitational at Timber Banks Golf Club.
