St. John Fisher University Athletics

James Leone (Bloomington, ILL/Normal Community) of the St. John Fisher College men’s basketball team has been selected as the College’s Male Athlete of the week for action taking place during the week that ended February 2, 2020.  

The senior posted a double-double against Houghton on Friday night as he scored 17 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as the Cardinals won in convincing fashion 84-69. The Cardinals then hosted Alfred on Saturday where he had 23 points and seven rebounds along with a highlight reel dunk to top it off. Fisher would hold off the Saxons with a 106-101 victory and improved to 13-7 overall and 8-1 in conference play. 

Fisher will hit the road traveling to Oneonta to take on Hartwick on Friday, February 7th, 2020 and will make its way to Elmira on February 8th, 2020.
