PITTSFORD, N.Y. - Claire Bollin of the women’s lacrosse team has been named the St. John Fisher College Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on March 19th.

Bollin turned in a solid showing on Sunday as she doubled up her goals on the season in a win over SUNY Oneonta. The junior tagged the Red Dragons for five goals, increasing her season total to 10. Aside from goal scoring, Bollin filled up the stat sheet in other ways as she recorded three groundballs, two caused turnovers and two draw controls.

Bollin currently leads the Empire 8 in draws controlled per game (6.5) and has the second-most points (11) and goals (10) on the team

Women’s lacrosse will return to action at 5 p.m. on Wednesday as the team travels to Geneva, N.Y. for a nationally-ranked bout with the Herons of William Smith College
