DJ Logory of the football team has been named the St. John Fisher College Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending on September 25th, 2016

Logory was instrumental on defense this weekend against the College at Brockport, helping the Cardinals capture its 12th-straight Courage Bowl while keeping their record a perfect 4-0 (2-0 Empire 8) as well.

The senior captain was all over the field on Saturday as his 23 tackles tied a St. John Fisher College record. Logory finished with four solo tackles including one for a five-yard loss. The Hilton, N.Y. native also registered a team-high two pass break ups.

On the year, the cornerback has recorded 49 tackles, leading all players in the Empire 8 and ranking him 22nd in all of Division III.

Fisher will return home on Saturday as the team hosts Buffalo State at Growney Stadium for a 1 p.m. contest. The game also marks Alumni Weekend for the St. John Fisher College campus.
