St. John Fisher College’s Cohen Miles-Rath (Wayland-Cohocton/Cohocton) of the men’s cross country team has been named as the College’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending September 4, 2011. 

            Miles-Rath finished second out of 37 runners in Saturday’s Houghton College Short Course Invitational, helping Fisher secure a first-place finish in the program’s first competition since 2001.  Miles-Rath, a freshman, ended the event with an average mile time of 5:13 and finished the 5K with a total time of 16:11. 

Fisher will return to action at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Hamilton College Short Course Invitational.
