St. John Fisher University Athletics

Tayler Dence (Hannibal/Hannibal) of the St. John Fisher College women's track & field has been selected as the College's Female Athlete of the Week after her record setting performance at the Spartan Invitational this past Saturday. 

 Dence was the highlight of the day at the Spartan Invitational as the junior set a new school record in the 200-meter dash event with a blistering time of 26.12 seconds, which was good for fifth place overall of 92 total competitors on the day.

The Hannibal native now ranks 16th in the national rankings for the 200-meter event. 

The Cardinals step back onto the track on Friday, January 18th as Fisher heads to Houghton College to compete in the Highlander Invite.
