St. John Fisher College has named #Joelle Sacheli# of the women’s golf team as the College’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 22, 2009.

Sacheli led the Cardinals to a 22^nd place finish in the Jekyll Island Invitational in Georgia over the weekend, and placed 45^th in the individual standings with a three-round total of 265 (+49) on the Indian Mound Golf Course.

After firing an 87 on the Invitational’s first day to lead the team, the sophomore closed out the action with Fisher’s lowest round of the week (84). Sacheli shot a 94 on the second day for the Cardinals, who trimmed an impressive 38 strokes from their opening round score over the course of the Invitational.
