Biography

2025: Played in eight sets over six matches… had 12 kills on 17 attempts for a team high .647 hitting percentage… had six blocks... earned United Volleyball Conference All-Academic honors.

2024: Played in 11 sets over seven matches… had 19 kills and two service aces… had six kills and four blocks in a win over Houghton.

2023: Played in eighth sets across seven matches.

2022: Appeared in two matches on the season and did not record any stats.

High School: Played three years as a member of the varsity volleyball team ... Was named Honorable Mention All-County ... Helped lead his team to a sectional finale in 2021.

Personal: A Finance major and a Economics Minor, Sam is the son of Bryan and Catherine... His favorite athletic moment is winning the UVC his freshman year... Claims he got into volleyball after he had a “mystical vision that I should play volleyball, then my math teacher told me to play.” ... Says he's a big fan of the Jamaican Olympic Bobsled Team.
