CORTLAND, N.Y. – Freshman Makenna Keough had another big performance as the St. John Fisher women's outdoor track and field team competed in the SUNY Cortland Classic on Saturday.
For the second time in three weeks, Keough set Fisher's outdoor triple jump record, posting a mark of 11.32 meters to place first in the event. She previously set the Cardinals' triple jump record in the Geneseo Invite on April 4 with a mark of 10.61 meters.

Track Highlights

The Cardinals' 4x100-meter team of Abigail Dorunda, Ella Radley, Emily Heiner and Juliana Riemersma placed first with a time of 48.68.

Freshman Bailey Nixon (2:27.66) and sophomore Caroline Horton (2:31.41) placed fifth and sixth, respectively, in the 800-meter run.

Dorunda placed fifth in the 400-meter run with a time of 1:00.20.

Junior Sophia Leach took fourth place in the 400-meter hurdles, logging a time of 1:08.38.

Riemersma clocked a time of 25.40 in the 200-meter run, good for fifth place.
Field Highlights

Senior Anna Steed set a season best in the hammer throw with a third-place mark of 50.82 meters, which moved her up to 27th on the Division III performance list for the event.

Sophomore Sierra Myers placed second in the javelin throw, recording a toss of 30.91 meters.

Sophomore Kianna Naval took second place in the long jump at 5.23 meters. She also placed second in the triple jump at 11.08 meters.

Sophomore Hailee Garcia took second in the discus throw with a hurl of 38.87 meters.
