Indoor: Competed in the regional championships in the 4x400 relay and DMR… part of a fifth-place 4x400 relay team in the Empire 8 Championships… helped Fisher’s DMR group place fourth in the E8 Championships.
Outdoor: Part of Fisher’s All-Empire 8 4x400-meter relay team, which recorded a second-place time of 4:04.00 in the conference championship meet… placed fifth in the 400-meter hurdles in the E8 Championships with a time of 1:06.98.
2024-25
Indoor: Part of a 4x400 team that earned third-team All-Empire 8 honors and set a school record with a time of 4:00.57 in the conference championship meet… helped the 4x400 team take seventh in the regional championships… set a personal record in the 200-meter run with a time of 27.50 in the Boston University Invite… set a personal record in the 300 with a time of 44.19 in the Nazareth Invite.
Outdoor: Part of the 4x400 team that earned second-team All-E8 honors with a time of 4:01.82 in the conference championship… placed fifth and logged Fisher’s third-fastest 400-meter hurdles time (1:06.93) in the Empire 8 Championships… competed in the regional championships in the 400-meter hurdles and 4x400 relay.
2023-24
Indoor: Clocked the fifth-fastest 500-meter run time (1:25.94) in program history in her first collegiate meet, the Nazareth Alumni Opener Invite… helped Fisher’s 4x400 relay team earn third-team All-Empire 8 honors with a time of 4:16.64 in the conference championships.
Outdoor: Placed second in the 400-meter run (1:00.08) and 400-meter hurdles (1:07.88) in the Empire 8 Championships to earn All-Conference honors… part of an All-Conference 4x100 relay team that recorded a third-place time of 52.89 in the Empire 8 Championships.
High School: Ran three years of cross-country and outdoor track and two years of indoor track…Earned All-County honors in outdoor track 2023… Named 2022 outdoor track MVP… Named 2021 outdoor track rookie of the year.
Personal: Sophia is the daughter of Alisa and Scott… She is a Psychology major with a minor in Sociology… Her favorite athletic moment was setting two school records at the 2023 Rush Relays… Sophia originally got into track because her sister did it, and took up cross country in eighth grade when her father suggested she’d be better at distances than sprints.
