ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. – The St. John Fisher men's golf team resumed the spring portion of its season in the McDaniel College Spring Invitation on Saturday and Sunday at the Bridgers Golf Club.
The Cardinals ended the two-round tournament in fifth place at +85 (661 strokes). Salisbury (+38) won the tournament, while Goucher (+40), Hobart (+50) and Stevenson (+69) made up the rest of the top five.
Top Performers
The Cardinals were led by sophomore Nick Years, who shot a 12-over 156 to finish the tournament in a tie for eighth place. Years, who carded a 79 on Saturday and a 77 on Sunday, recorded four birdies, two in each round.
Sophomore Colin Patterson finished in a three-way tie for 18th place at 19-over 163. Patterson carded an 81 on Saturday and an 82 on Sunday, making a pair of birdie puts along the way.
