SAVANNAH, Ga. – The St. John Fisher men's golf team opened the spring portion of the 2025-26 season in the three-round Port City Classic at the Savannah Country Club on Monday and Tuesday.
The Cardinals finished in 17th place as a team at +82 (934 strokes). They closed the tournament on Tuesday with their strongest round, carding a 16-over 300.
Top Performers
Sophomore Colin Patterson (10-over 233) finished in a three-way tie for 19th place with Randolph-Macon's Ty White and Oglethorpe's Ethan Breth.
Patterson had one of the strongest second-round performances in the field, finishing tied for the fourth-best score at one-over 72. He recorded birdies on the par-four second, the par-five fourth, the par-three 15th and the par-four 18th holes.
Patterson carded a five-over 76 in the first round and a four-over 75 in the third. He eagled the fourth hole during Monday's opening round.
Sophomores Nick Years and Jack Doran finished tied for 71st and 75th place, respectively. Both players finished five-over 76 in the third round.
