Men's Golf Places 14th In Williams College Invite

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The St. John Fisher men's golf team competed in the Williams College Fall Invite at the Taconic Golf Club on Saturday and Sunday, placing 14th in the three-round tournament. 

Babson, which finished+22 as a team, won the tournament. Host Williams College claimed second place at +33. 

Sophomore Nick Years, the 2024-25 Empire 8 Rookie of the Year, was the Cardinals' top finisher, rising eight spots on the leaderboard with a strong performance on Sunday. He carded a 77 in the first round, a 79 in the second and a 76 in the third to finish in 42nd place at +19. 

Sophomores Jack Doran and Colin Patterson finished in a tie for 57th place at +24. They both carded 82 strokes or fewer in each of the three rounds. 

Up Next

The Cardinals will compete in the Northeast Elite Tournament Sept. 28-29.
