ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher men's cross country team competed in the University of Rochester Yellowjacket Invite on Saturday at Genesee Valley Park. The Cardinals placed 14th as a team.

Junior Jace Stuart placed 11th with his best collegiate 8k time (25:58.2). That time also marked the best ever by a Fisher men's cross country runner on the Genesee Valley course.

Stuart has placed in the top 15 and set a personal record in each of the Cardinals' first three races this season.

Senior Will Chubb had the Cardinals' second-best time at 27:28.4, a personal record and the 12th-best time on Fisher's top-20 list for the course.

Sophomore Landon Wertz also logged his top collegiate 8k time (27:50.9) and cracked the Cardinals' top-20 list for the course.
