HOUGHTON, N.Y. – Junior Jace Stuart had another record-breaking performance as the St. John Fisher men's cross country team competed in the Houghton Highlander Invitational on Saturday at the Field of Dreams Cross Country Course. The Cardinals placed 10th out of 16 teams.
Stuart took ninth in the 8k race that included more than 200 collegiate runners with a time of 25:16.3, a personal record and the fastest time by a Fisher runner on the Houghton course. His previous top 8k time was 25:58.2 in the University of Rochester Yellowjacket Invite earlier this season.
Stuart has placed 11th or better in each of the three races he's competed in this year.
