PITTSFORD, N.Y. – Three St. John Fisher University student-athletes have earned weekly honors from the Empire 8 Conference.
Madelyn Wania (Women's Soccer, Senior) – Empire 8 Offensive Player of the Week
Wania matched her season high with five points on two goals and an assist in the Cardinals' 8-0 home victory over Keuka College on Saturday. She's scored multiple goals in two games this season and three times overall since joining the Cardinals in 2024.
This marks Wania's first E8 weekly honor of the season and second of her career.
Kaylene Noble (Women's Volleyball, Junior) – Empire 8 Co-Player of the Week
Noble slammed 34 kills, hit .433 and accounted for 35.5 total points in St. John Fisher's sweeps of Nazareth, Utica and SUNY Poly last week. Against Utica on Friday, she slammed 18 kills while hitting .429 to go with 15 digs as part of her team-leading seventh double-double of the season. She hit .438 with nine kills in the win over Nazareth and .438 with seven kills against Poly.
Noble, who needs three more kills to reach 1,000 for her career, has been named E8 Player of the Week four times this season. She currently leads the conference in kills, averaging 4.01 per set.
Kalyna Dannenberg (Women's Volleyball, Freshman) – Empire 8 Co-Rookie of the Week
Dannenberg hit .377 with 30 kills in St. John Fisher's sweeps of Nazareth, Utica and SUNY Poly last week. She accounted for 19 points in all.
Dannenberg had 12 kills and hit .370 in a win over Nazareth Tuesday and added 10 kills while hitting .563 against SUNY Poly on Saturday.
She's been named E8 Rookie of the Week six times this year.
