PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to SUNY Brockport on Saturday afternoon at Growney Stadium. 
Fisher had its three-game winning streak snapped and fell to 6-4-2 overall (5-1-1 Empire 8), while Brockport improved to 9-0-3 overall (7-0 Empire 8) with its fifth consecutive win. Brockport now holds first place in the conference by five points over Fisher, which leads Utica by a point for second. 
How It Happened
	- Both teams played a scoreless first half, with Fisher generating multiple chances and holding an 8-4 edge in shots through 45 minutes. Brockport broke the tie just one minute into the second half when McKenna Slate scored to give the Golden Eagles the lead.
- Fisher continued to press, finishing with 14 total shots and seven corner kicks, but could not find the equalizer.
- Goalkeeper Avery Byrnes made four saves for the Cardinals, while seniors Madelyn Wania and Maddy Jackson each recorded shots on goal.
