Rochester, N.Y. and Boston, Mass. – The St. John Fisher College men's track and field team competed Friday at the Rochester Institute of Technology Invite while also at Boston University's Valentine Invite.
At RIT,
Leyton Miner placed fourth in the shot put with a personal best 14.29 meters that qualifies the senior for the Atlantic Regional Championships.
Phoenix Palmer cleared 4.10 meters in the pole vault to claim third.
Trenton Wynn earned sixth place in 200-meter dash with a time of 24.24. He also had a personal best in the 60-meter preliminaries with a time of 7.36 seconds.
Bogdan Rozvora placed sixth in 5000-meter while cutting down 20 seconds off his personal best.
Trey Caulkins set a personal best in the shot put with a throw of 11.51 meters.
Ryan Driscoll had personal best in the mile with a time of 4:49.59
Maxwell Blowers achieved a personal record in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.02 seconds.
Curtis Cuvilly set a new personal record in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.36.
Jack Mott set a personal best in the shot put with a throw of 10.27 meters.
At Boston University,
Fred Owen,
Myles Anderson,
Ryan Allen and
Grant Stokoe teamed up in the Distance Medley Relay and finished with a season-best time of 10:39.97.
Fisher will continue to compete at the Valentine Invitational on Saturday.
