The St. John Fisher College men's cross country team finished second out of five teams at the Geneseo Invitational, the best finish the Cardinals have seen this season.  All of the Fisher point scorers finished within the Top 25.

Yanko Panipinto led Fisher, placing 10th in the event with a time of 27:44.2 in the eight-kilometer race.

Freshman Jeffrey Mangiafesto and sophomore Evan Magnussen finished in 12th and 13th place with times of 28:09.7 and 28:10.4, respectively. 

Matt Herbert, who ran a time of 28:19.6, came across the finish line in 16th place.  Sam Harbol rounded out the Fisher finishers with at time of 29:18.6 in 22nd place.

The Cardinals will next race at the Saratoga Invite, held at Saratoga Springs State Park, on Saturday.
