The St. John Fisher College men's cross country team placed sixth overall at the Empire 8 Conference Championship at Saratoga Spa State Park.
Evan Magnussen led Fisher and placed 24^th overall with a time of 28:05 for the 8,000-meter race.

Jeffrey Mangiafesto placed 27^th overall and was one of the meet's top freshmen, finishing with a time of 28:14.    Matt Herbert came in at 28:43 and placed 35^th overall.

John Greiner shaved 15 seconds off of his time from earlier this year (Fisher ran the same course last month) and placed 43^rd overall.
 
Fisher will return to action in two weeks at the NCAA Regional  Championship at Genesee Valley Park.
