Cross Country Teams Compete in NCAA Regionals

The St. John Fisher College cross country teams competed in the NCAA Atlantic Regionals at St. Lawrence University Saturday for the opportunity to compete in the NCAA Division III Championships next weekend. The men's team finished 27th overall, while the women's side combined for a 31st place finish.
 
Cohen Miles-Rath placed in the 20th position at the meet with a time of 26:01.5 for the eight-kilometer course.  The freshman will now have to wait until Sunday's NCAA selections are made to see if he earns a bid to the national meet. 
 
If Miles-Rath is selected to compete next weekend, he will travel to Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne, Wisconsin for the meet. 
 
Kevin Jablonski (179th, 28:44.4), Sean Morgan (188th, 28:54.2), Matt Herbert (198th, 29:08.8) and Evan Magnussen (204th , 29:13.2) all recorded points for the Cardinals.
 
On the women's side, Taylor Gallup finished the highest for Fisher, coming in at No. 143 with a time of 25:25.2 for the six-kilometer course.
 
Teammates Amanda Westfall (158th, 25:46.2), Alida Schillinger (189th, 26:23.9), Jordan Rhen (191st, 26:29.0) and Stephanie Guzelak (197th, 26:46.4) recorded points toward Fisher's finish.
