Colin McGaugh (Hamilton/Hamilton) of the St. John Fisher College men’s golf team has been selected as the College’s Male Athlete of the Week for action taking place during the week that ended October 6, 2019.

McGaugh won the Empire 8 Fall Championship as the Hamilton native finished the 36-hole tournament at +6 overall.  The Cardinals wrapped up the two-day event in second place and will head into the Empire 8 Spring Championship trailing Utica College by just seven strokes.

After finishing Saturday's round at +4, McGaugh shaved two strokes off his score and completed Sunday's final round with a 74 (+2).
The Cardinals will break for the winter and are scheduled to embark upon their spring schedule in March.  The Empire 8 Spring Championship will take place in April with the winner earning the conference's automatic berth into the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship in May.
