St. John Fisher University Athletics

2024: Played in 25 matches and made 17 starts… had the fourth-most kills on the team (113)... recorded 34 service aces… was third on the team with 27 total blocks… also amassed 49 digs… she slammed a season-high 10 kills in a 3-1 win over Geneseo on 10/5… had a season-best five service aces in a 3-1 victory over Alfred on 11/2.

Prior to Fisher: Played in 129 sets over 41 matches at Merrimack College... recorded 131 kills, with 109 coming in 2023... amassed 54 blocks, including 40 as a sophomore in 2023... started 15 matches in 2023. 

High School: She played basketball and softball in addition to volleyball in high school… earned second-team All-State honors in 2021 (volleyball) and fourth-team All-State honors in 2019 (volleyball)... she holds school records for blocks, aces, and kills… won her team’s MVP award (volleyball) in 2019, 2020 and 2021… named her school’s Athlete of the Year in 2022.

Personal: Marilyn is the daughter of Betty Jean Whitcavitch... she has two siblings, Bruce and Zeb... she studies biology...
