2025: Played in all 32 matches, logging action in 98 sets… had one of the best rookie seasons in school history… slammed 359 kills while hitting .259… finished second in the Empire 8 Conference in kills per set (3.66)... finished second on the team and third in the conference with 413.5 points (4.22 per set)... became one of eight players in program history to surpass 400 points in a season… also tallied 33 service aces and 35 total blocks… had 259 digs on the defensive side of the net, the second most on the team… smashed a season-high 19 kills while hitting a beaming .414 to go with 14 digs to lead the Cardinals to their first NCAA Tournament victory since 1997 on Nov. 20 against Wentworth… had 16 kills while hitting .483 in a sweep of Houghtonon Oct. 31 and 16 while hitting .361 in a sweep of SUNY Geneseo in the E8 Semifinals on Nov. 12… slammed double-digit kills in all but seven of Fisher’s 32 contests… hit better than .300 in 14 matches… produced eight double-doubles… had a season-high 23 digs in a four-set victory over Middlebury on Sept. 6… aced four serves against Middlebury on Sept. 6 and Alfred on Nov. 1… totaled 19 points against Houghton and Wentworth and 18.5 against Middlebury… produced 15 or more points in eight matches… became the 10th player in program history to win Empire 8 Rookie of the Year and the first to be named American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) NCAA Division III Region III Rookie of the Year… named an AVCA Honorable Mention All-American… garnered AVCA All-Region III First-Team honors… was named to the All-Empire 8 first team.

High School: Holds her school’s record for kills (569)... was a volleyball state finalist… recipient of Clarence Gaffet Memorial award, presented annually to the outstanding senior boy and girl of each varsity sport who has shown the most dedication, determination and effort to their sport… was a six-time letter athlete… also played softball and flag football… she is a member of the National and Spanish Honor societies… played for VolleyFX club team.

Personal: Kalyna is the daughter of James and Larissa Dannenberg… majoring in biology… has two siblings, Oksana and Maksym.

Fun Fact: She is a member of the Ukrainian American Youth Association… graduated from school in Ukraine after attending for 12 years… pregame ritual includes listening to music to get in the zone.
