CICERO, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University women's golf team began its 2026 season over the weekend in the St. John Fisher Collegiate Invitational at the Lakeshore Country Club. 

All eight of the Cardinals' student-athletes competed as individuals in the two-round tournament. Senior Sarah Burgess (82 on Sunday, 82 on Monday) and sophomore Emma Sweazy (80 on Sunday, 82 on Monday) finished tied for first at 164 strokes. 

Gabriella Dardis, in her first collegiate tournament, shot an 83 on Sunday and an 82 on Monday en route to a second-place finish at 165 strokes. Fellow freshman Hailey Baughan took third at 171 strokes.
