GENESEO, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher women's outdoor track and field team logged several impressive results as it competed in the SUNY Geneseo Early Season Invitational on Saturday.
Freshman Makenna Keough had the Cardinals' top performance, as she set Fisher's outdoor record and met the regional meet qualifying standard in the triple jump with a mark of 10.61 meters. She placed third in the event, which included a field of 25 athletes.
Track Highlights

Senior Caitlin Voloshen placed sixth and met the regional meet qualifying mark in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:44.58.

St. John Fisher's 4x100 team of Emily Heiner, Ella Radley, Abigail Dorunda and Makenna Manson placed first with a time of 48.09.

Dorunda placed second and met the regional meet qualifying mark in the 100-meter run with a time of 12.57.

Freshman Juliana Riemersma placed first and qualified for regionals in the 400-meter run with a time of 57.53 seconds, good for second on Fisher's top-five list for the event. She also placed fourth in the 200-meter run, clocking a time of 25.81.
Additional Field Highlights

Sophomore Hailee Garcia placed second in the discus throw with a toss of 40.03 meters, the third-best mark in program history. She met the regional qualifying standard.

Junior Mary Claire Rollins placed second in the high jump with a mark of 1.58 meters.

Senior Anna Steed placed second in the hammer throw with a toss of 49.40 meters.

Select Fisher athletes will compete at Bucknell next weekend, while others will compete at SUNY Brockport.
