PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher women's outdoor track and field team competed in the Cardinal Classic on Saturday at the Polisseni Track and Field Complex. 

Track Highlights

• Sophomore Abigail Dorunda placed second in the 400-meter run, recording a time of 59.19 seconds. She also took fourth place in the 200-meter run with a time of 25.98 seconds. 

• Junior Sophia Leach placed second in the 400-meter hurdles event with a time of 1:07.94. 

• The Cardinals' 4x400 relay team of Brianne Hurlburt, Caitlin Voloshen, Maggie Bacon and Olivia Grinnell placed second with a time of 4:25.17. 

Field Highlights

• Sophomore Hailee Garcia set a personal best in the discus throw with a first-place toss that traveled 41.18 meters. 

• Sophomore Sierra Myers placed first in the javelin throw with a mark of 32.80 meters. 

• Senior Anna Steed placed first in the hammer throw, recording a hurl of 50.48 meters.
