Women's Track and Field Competes In Cornell Southern Tier Invite

ITHACA, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher women's track and field team resumed the indoor season on Saturday in the Cornell Southern Tier Invite. 

Track Highlights

  • Sophomore Abigail Dorunda recorded the third-fastest 300-meter run time in program history, placing 10th at 42.74 seconds. She also placed fifth in the 60-meter run at 7.97 seconds.  

  • Freshman Juliana Riemersma placed 14th and recorded the fifth-fastest 300-meter run time (43.83) in program history.

  • Senior Caitlin Voloshen claimed first place and met the regional meet qualifying mark in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:22.89. 

  • Sophomore Brianne Hurlburt placed second in the 800 with a time of 2:25.17. 

Field Highlights

  • Freshman Makenna Keough placed fourth and recorded the third-best mark (10.66m) in program history in the triple jump. 

  • Sophomore Kianna Naval placed fifth in the triple jump at 10.40 meters.

  • Senior Erin McGuinness placed sixth in the shot put, recording a toss of 12.23 meters.
