WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Senior Ciarra Franz and freshman Sierra Myers set school records as the St. John Fisher women's track and field team competed in the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) Outdoor Championships this week at Williams College. 

In the 100-meter hurdles event, Franz placed second with a time of 14.13 seconds. Myers recorded a fifth-place finish in the javelin throw with a toss of 37.39 meters. 

The Cardinals amassed 34 team points over the two-day meet, which began on Wednesday. They placed 11th overall. 

Additional Meet Highlights

• Makenna Manson, Abigail Dorunda, Ella Radley and Ashley Holt recorded the third-fastest 4x100 time in program history and finished sixth (48.52). 

• Veronica Duell placed fourth in the long jump with a mark of 5.60 meters. Franz placed seventh at 5.51 meters. 

• Anna Steed placed sixth in the hammer throw with a hurl of 50.27 meters.

The Cardinals' qualifiers will compete in the NCAA DIII Championships next week.
