PITTSFORD, N.Y. – Freshman Corinthian Reed and junior Brandon Kaplan set school records in their respective events as the St. John Fisher men's track and field team competed in the Geneseo Early Season Outdoor Invite this weekend.
Reed placed sixth and set a Fisher record in the 200m run, recording a time of 22.01 seconds. He also recorded the program's fourth-best time in the 100m run (11.09).
Kaplan set the program record in the hammer throw with a mark of 56.17m. He placed first and met the NCAA regional qualifying mark in the event.
Additional Meet Highlights

Sophomore Hayden Penna placed second and hit the NCAA regional qualifying mark in the pole vault (4.60m). Freshman Oren Welch also recorded a mark of 4.60m, qualifying for regionals and improving to second on the program's all-time pole vault list.

Freshman Alexander Kolpien placed fourth in the men's pole vault open event. He recorded a mark of 4.05, good for fifth all-time on the program's list.

Sophomore Manuel Sepulveda placed first in the men's long jump with a mark of 6.91m, good for fourth all-time on the program's long jump list. He met the NCAA regional qualifying standard with his performance.

Freshman Daniel Davis placed fourth in the discus throw (45.30m) and hit the NCAA regional qualifying mark. The throw marked the second-best all-time on Fisher's discuss throw list.

Senior Brady Bishop, freshman Adam Johnson, freshman Michael Prentice and Reed placed second in the 4x400m run (3:21.36). The group met the NCAA regional qualifying standard.
