Voloshen Sets School Record As Part Of Strong Day For Women's Track and Field

BOSTON, Mass. – St. John Fisher junior distance runner Caitlin Voloshen set a program record as part of a strong overall showing on Saturday for the Cardinals women's track and field team in the 2025 Track at New Balance Collegiate Showdown. 

Top Women's Results 

  • Junior Caitlin Voloshen set a program record and qualified for NCAA Regionals in the 800m run. She placed second in the race at 2:20.17. 

  • Junior Olivia Grinnell, freshmen Allison Nickson and Brianne Hurlburt and Voloshen hit the NCAA Regional-qualifying mark in the women's distance medley relay. They collectively recorded a mark of 12:58.53. 

  • Junior Jazelle McIntyre reached the NCAA Regional-qualifying mark in the women's weight throw. She finished third and set a personal collegiate best in the event (14.74m). 

  • Freshman Taylor Fischer placed seventh in the weight throw and set a personal best by more than a meter (12.46m). 

  • Grinnell placed third and set a personal record in the mile (5:18.40).
