MEADVILLE, PA – The St. John Fisher University men's and women's track and field team are traveling to a variety of competitions for their final chance at qualifying for regionals or getting some final reps before post-season competition. Today, the Cardinals made their way to Allegheny College to compete in the Marty Goldberg Gator Invitational.
Brandon Kaplan used his final throw of the competition to hit a distance of 52.44m to secure the first-place finish.
Jack Bickford finished in fourth-place with a throw of 45.77m in his third attempt. Kaplan also competed in the shot put and reached a distance of 12.14m.
Riley Nash was the lone Cardinals racing on the track and he competed in the 800m run. He took fifth place with a time of 2:03.91
Up next for Fisher is another set of competitions, with athletes traveling to Baldwin Wallace, Widener and Williams.
