ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University men's and women's track and field teams stayed local to compete in the University of Rochester Alumni Invitational.
John Ruggio took home sixth place in the 400 meter hurdles in a time of 58.69. Harden Penna finished in second place in the pole vault, clearing the bar at 4.31 in his first attempt.
Sean Cochrane cleared the bar at 1.91 meters in his first attempt to finish in a tie for 2
nd place. Griffin Killian ended the day in 9
th place, clearing the bar set at 1.76 meters. In the triple jump,
Noah Dueker finished in eighth place with a leap of 12.25 meters in his second attempt.
Brandon Kaplan took home third place in the hammer throw, reaching a distance of 53.87 in his second throw.
Jack Bickford, came in tenth in the hammer, record a throw of 45.17 in his second throw.
