PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University women's track and field team competed at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic and Brockport invitational over the weekend and had some strong performances.
Bucknell
On Saturday,
Allison List finished in 13
th in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:26.76 and a field place behind her was
Maggie Bacon in 19
th with a mark of 2:27.12. In the 1500 meter run,
Olivia Grinnell ran a 5:01.05 and
Caitlin Voloshen recorded a mark of 5:05.23. List and Bacon both competed in the One Mile Run and finished in 20
th and 21
st respectively. List did so with a time of 5:32.79 and Bacon followed with her timing at 5:33.12.
Brockport
Grace Dolan finished inf 5
th place in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:02.60 and teammate Sophia Lynch wasn't far behind, crossing the line in 8
th with a mark of 1:03.50. In the 1500,
Lauren DeMichele finished in 8
th place with a time of 5:05.57.
Laura Witt ran a time of 19:35.83 to take tenth place in the 5000 meter run.
Riley Jameson earned first place in the 10000 meter run with a time of 38:53.39. In the 400 meter hurdles,
Sophia Leach tallied a fourth place finish with a time of 1:11.53.
Claudia Vogel took part in the high jump and earned a share of 2
nd place, clearing a bar at 1.48 meters. Mary Claire Rollins followed with a 6
th place mark, jumping over the bar at 1.43 meters. Vogel also competed in the javelin throw and finished in 5
th place with a throw of 29.37 meters.
Emily Frech earned an 8
th place finish in the pole vault after clearing the 3.16 meter bar.
Veronica Duell jumped a distance of 5.38 meters to take 3
rd place in the long jump.
Makenna King earned the win in the shotput, tossing a distance of 12.85 meters. Erin McGuinnes used a throw of 11.68 meters to take 3
rd place in the event. King followed that performance with a win in the discus throw, reaching 41.82 meters.
