PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University women's track and field team competed on Saturday at the Nazareth Conference Challenge Cup, finishing sixth out of nine teams. The Cardinals finished with 57 total points.

Sophomore Caitlin Voloshen won the mile run with a time of 5:19.31, setting a St. John Fisher record in the process.
Although Caitlin would be the lone track winner for the women's team on the day, several other Cardinals had good finishes. Senior Lauren DeMichele placed third in the 5000m with a time of 18:35.96, while junior Grace Wright finished fifth in the 200m (26.96) and sixth in the 400m (1:01.01).
Field
Senior Michaela Kurbs (5.56m/18'3'') and junior Veronica Duell (5.48m/17'11.75'') finished 1-2 in the long jump. Elsewhere, senior Makenna King placed second in the shot put, throwing for a 12.56m/41'2.5'' mark.
